New poems in ottawater

The 15th annual ottawater is out and features enough quality poetry to get us through hibernation. I've only cherrypicked a handful of entries to read thus far but each has been rewarding in its own way. One thing I particularly like about ottawater is how each issue acts as a community catch-up, gathering cast-offs and themed inquiries that let us know what National Capital Region authors (and ex-pats) are up to.

In that spirit, this year's edition includes three poems of mine, each from different manuscripts: "Tim", "Postcard from the corner booth" and "The rains come Wednesday". Thanks to rob mclennan for the invitation and Tanya Sprowl for the eye-catching design and layout. Dive in here.
